What does John Reid think he is doing. £2,500 for foreign criminals to leave our jails is crazy, We should deport them and give them nothing, We should not be rewarding them for their crimes. I must add that if they had not been here in the first place, we would not have this problem with overcrowding.

Another good pic, Blue...funny how these 'multi-culturalists' never actually marry an ethnic and have their sprogs!

Who'd want a 'mongrel' kid?

I just wish we could get some people in power with a bit of common sense. I look at the one's who will be putting themselves forward at the next election and none of them inspire me. It makes me wonder if there is any point in voting, if nothing is going to change, what's the point. At least up here we have PR so there is a better chance of the smaller party's getting someone elected, I only hope the BNP put some people forward, so i can vote for them.

Hi all,

The BNP policies do make a lot of common sense. Before I had the internet at home and could research the facts on differing parties policies from the horses mouth so to speak. I had only assumed that the BNP were a extremely misrepresented party and were the only! party that put forth issues that I as a concerned Englishman conected with. The more I researched it became more painfully clear that I did not fully understand and I had under-estimated the vastly corrupt power of the main stream press and polictical parties with vested interest "gerrymandering" and in total basically lying to the public. The BNP make alot of sense and I genually believe there good democratic intentions. With regards to your topic of the day I believe one of the BNP's columnist articals talk about the filling up of the prison a long time ago. I do not believe that foreign prisoners should be sent home to serve the sentance in their own country. We need to be sure British law is upheld and they serve the required sentance. After that they need to be frog marched out of our country and make sure that they never come back (this may need to be reviewed dependant on offence)This is a problem of past and current goverments making but if for example a britian (or indeed foreign guest) is murdered or raped by a foreigner they should face the full fury of our (Accepted rather lax)laws.

I agree with much of what you say, but when it comes to foreign criminals I tend toward the 'kick 'em out' arguement.

1. Foreigners who were sentenced under Maggie Thatcher are being released early under Tony B.Liar( and those sentenced under TB will be released under Brown/Cameron, etc).

2. I'm not certain of the exact figures, but I believe it costs around 7000 pounds PER DAY to keep a foreigner in our jails but around 2000 pounds to deport them.

Economically speaking, it is less of a drain on the tax-payer to 'kick 'em out'...and you can't be sure that the next Home Sec won't go soft and reduce their sentence.

The only sure way to eliminate these foreign shit-scabs is to 'KICK 'EM OUT'...and make sure they STAY OUT.

Hi bfb

I agree with you on the soft sentence and the fact they get released early (and not even deported! heads should of rolled for that) The economical issue is also a good argument.
On the face of it I initially felt the same but I asked myself the question what if it was my close family that were wronged. I would expect the culpret to be punished and would not want them to get away with it. I know in theory they will serve the remainder of their sentance in their home country but could we be sure?. I am a little split with this dilemma as I am aware of the high percentage of foreign criminals in our prisons. I guess it boils down to our immigration policies. Maybe our prisons are too cosy as well generally but possible it is worth looking down the path of creating a prison for the foreign criminals and as we would not be interested in re-integrating them into our society we can limit their facilities to "just acceptable" this would keep cost down.

What about prison ships?

If they escape, they drown.

I'll not shed a tear.

Cheap, effective...JOB DONE!

Are your family foreigners?

Hi bfb,

Can not help to laugh I think you mis-understood me - please accept my apologies.

I meant what if one of my family had been the victim of a foreign criminal - would I like the foreign criminal to potentially not serve the required time for the crime commited. That is my dilemma with returning foreign criminals to their homeland.(Some countries / cultures may not believe that it was a crime - such as the slaying of non beleivers)

I guess in a way some of my family are foreign my nan (passed away now)was Welsh and my grandad Canadian.

No apologies necessary...

My point is this: I believe the best punishment for these foreign scum is to send them back from whence they came. I'm sure they'd rather be pampered in a British jail where they get three meals a day, Cable TV and no-end of privalages courtesy of the Human Rights Act than be sent back to their dust-bowl countries where they are likely to be beheaded if they speak out of turn.

So send 'em back!

I'd rather be in a British jail anyday...wouldn't you?

I believe the death penalty could solve both your concerns.
Or with lesser crimes birch and repatriation.
